Use this complaint letter as a jumping-off point when your frequent flyer miles from a flight are missing or inadequate.

I had the pleasure April 3–5 to again travel on ABC Airline, from Atlanta to Phoenix. I am a faithful and frequent user of the frequent flyer program and thus I knew that this trip would earn me 20,000 miles.
Unfortunately, the miles earned failed to be posted. Several weeks later, my account still reflects that I didn't earn any miles at all for this trip.
Please correct my frequent flyer miles balance and consider adding additional miles for the inconvenience. This has happened to me before, when my August 2017 trip from New York City to Los Angeles resulted in only 100 frequent flyer miles being applied. I had hoped that your system would have improved since then.
I look forward to flying with ABC Airline again in the future.
