Accessibility and safety are at the forefront of this complaint letter about an elevator that is constantly breaking.
Dear ____________________,
Yet again the elevator in Wing 2 is out of service. I took the stairs instead, but my colleagues with physical challenges do not have that luxury. Last week, two clients were stuck in the elevator for an hour. Getting trapped in an elevator is only fun when it's a plot point on a TV show.
Beyond being an inconvenience, this situation is insulting to the hard-working occupants of this building and jeopardizes our client relationships. I wouldn't be surprised if malfunctioning elevators pose legal and safety issues as well.
The elevators in this building need to be better maintained and repairs must take place with a much quicker turnaround.
My next letter will go beyond property management directly to the building owner.
