This service complaint letter addresses bad television reception and demands compensation for missed TV programs.
Dear ___________,
For 10 years I have enjoyed usually reliable reception and excellent programming from your cable company. However, the "downtime" during the last month has been unacceptable.
Not only did we miss the conclusion of our favorite show ("Monkey Town"), but the cable went out during the big college bowl game, when I had several friends over to watch it. This is unacceptable.
First, I would like to be compensated for the disruption in service by way of a credit to my account equal to at least half of my monthly subscription fee of $59.99. Secondly, I wish to receive some kind of assurance that these outages will be few and far between in the future.
I hope that I will not be forced to switch to satellite television service. Please advise me of the measures you intend to take to correct this issue.
Sincerely,
