I am writing to inform you of the completely inappropriate behavior of one of your bus drivers. I was not able to obtain his name, but I believe he will be easily identifiable from the following information.
On the evening of Tuesday, December 1st, I was riding on the number 8 line near Main and 5th Street. I have ridden this bus home from work every day for years, so I am well acquainted with your normal bus driver, George. However, there was a different bus driver working on this particular evening.
My stop is Main and 5th, so I pulled the stop chain at Main and 3rd as I always do. The bus driver did not stop at Main and 5th even though the sign was lit. I notified him that he had missed my stop, and he proceeded to yell at me. Even though I repeatedly asked him to stop the bus, he continued to drive, finally stopping the bus at the next stop on Main and 12th. I was forced to walk back to 5th in the dark alone, which is very unsafe at night.
I do not know this bus driver's name, but he had brown hair and wore a gold earring. I sincerely hope that you consider this behavior unacceptable, and that you will take appropriate steps to reprimand this driver. I would appreciate follow up information from you so that I can be certain you take this information seriously. Please call me at 555-555-5555 at your earliest convenience. I await word from you.
